Applicants 16 and under on February 1st qualify for junior membership, junior membership must have an associated Senior membership

Student card must be provided and must be valid at February 1st of the year of application or renewal

Default membership if applicant doesn't qualify for any other category.

Applicants in possession of a valid European disabled car parking permit, or a medical certificate for a disability which significantly impacts their ability to used the full amenities of the lake

Members 65 or over on February 1st of the year of application. Evidence of age will need to be produced for 1st OAP application

Please give the names of up to two members of the club who would be prepared to vouch for you, and/or details of another club which can provide a reference.

Terms of membership application


Application in no way guarantees an offer of membership.

Membership shall be dependent on the member joining the NARGC INSURANCE SCHEME either through The club or other club affiliated to the afore mentioned scheme regardless of any other insurance they may have.

This application and the personal details therein will be stored securely by the Committee of the club until such time as an offer of membership is made or is declined. If the application is unsuccessful then the application will be destroyed, other than email address may be retained for purposes of correspondence. If the application is successful then the data will continue to be stored to enable the application to be processed.

Membership applications should be vouched by one or more club members, or should provide reference from another angling club with permission to contact them to check the reference.

The Committee will not enter into any discussion with any party in regard to a declined membership application.

The Club and Committee are not responsible for any information incorrectly entered on this form.

The club year runs from February 1st to January 31st.

Cost of registration is set each year and may vary from year to year. The cost below are indicative only, and may change by the time a membership offer is made.
  • 1st year Joining fee* of €150, plus:
  • Senior: €180 per annum thereafter
  • Junior: €50 per annum
  • Student: €100 per annum
  • OAP: €130 per annum
  • Disabled: €100 per annum
* 1st year joining fee does not apply to Junior members or to members transitioning from junior to senior membership. This information is correct at the time of publication but is subject to change.

Age refers to age at 1st February 2023 - the year for which the application is being made.

Typically offers of new membership are made from the beginning of April. When an offer is made the applicant will be forwarded a membership form which will need to be returned complete along with the required registration fee, whereupon membership will be activated.

Unsuccessful applications will not be retained, an applicant wishing to re-apply will need to fill in a new form for the following year.
